You may wish to have CANADA POST redirect your mail and/or notify the following of your CHANGE OF ADDRESS:

Doctor, dentist, orthodontist, lawyer, brokers, banks, finance and credit card companies including store credit card companies, accountant, CCRA, family allowance, old age security, CPP, UI, vehicle registration, schools, church, clubs, gym etc.

When moving day comes, don't forget the following:
Ensure that meters are read, keys are obtained or left, fobs, swipe cards and garage door openers are obtained or left, all appliances and lights are off and windows are secured.

Prior to moving out, it may be helpful to get a head start on cleaning the premises you are vacating, in preparation for the move-out inspection. You should refer to your move-in inspection report when preparing for your move-out. Following is a typical move-out checklist giving examples of items that should normally be cleaned:

STOVE Oven, cook top, burner rings, under rings, knobs, drawer. Exterior sides oven door, underneath & behind (floor) adjacent walls.
HOODFAN Fan and filters must be clean and filters replaced.
FRIDGE/FREEZER Must be thoroughly cleaned, including underneath and behind.
OTHER APPLIANCES Washer dryer, dishwasher, microwaves, as applicable, should be left clean, inside and out.
CUPBOARDS & DRAWERS Thorough clean inside/outside/top.
CLOSETS Don't forget to leave your closets clean
FLOORS Sweep, scrub, wash, clean floors with products appropriate to the floor types.
BASEBOARDS/HEATER TOPS Must be wiped down and left clean.
DOORS Must be wiped down, including tops of doors
BATHROOM Tub, tiles, sink, toilet including base, doors, fan, vanity, mirrors, floor.
WINDOW COVERINGS Blinds must be left clean.
BALCONIES Must be left clean and free of objects or debris
WINDOWS/PATIO DOORS Wash inside and out, including sills. Runners must be vacuumed. Screens must be cleaned.
WALLS Must be washed and left streak-free.
LIGHT BULBS Must be working
ELECTRICAL OUTLETS/LIGHT FIXTURES Must be left clean
KEYS All keys (don't forget mailbox, fobs, swipe cards and garage door openers) must be returned on departure
UTILITIES Utility bills must be paid up to the date on which the lease ends.
